On the morning of 21 October, the short documentary of historical skepticism, ” The Monopolies ” , was inaugurated in the historic and cultural neighbourhood of Changshan County. The play was adapted from a long novel of the same name, and the story of Sang-jung Nam and Song Ying was taken on screen with the perspective and experience of a small person. Innovative practices such as “cultural empowerment, integration of cultural brigades” in my county are also rooted in the indigenous culture of Changshan.

At the opening ceremony, the lead team and the guest of honour gathered to unveil the mini-certificate. Zhou Xinghua, the original author of the play, as a senior literary and historical researcher in Xinzhou, has been able to re-establish in his work the Shangshan cultural milieu of the history of Nam Song, and has vividly integrated the Shangshan geographical markers and non-relict arts, not only into the historical foundations of the script, but also into the unique artistic charisma and solid foundation for subsequent video transformation. Zhou Xinghua is very confident and eager in the visualization of his work, from words to images: “The historical and cultural elements of our Long Mountain can quickly be transformed into literary works, and from literature to visualization, I am very pleased. When I write novels, I consciously prepare for the transformation of film, whether it’s scenery, character-forming or plot logic, which is particularly appropriate for the presentation of cinema.”

It is understood that the micro-sync ” Unsilent Horse ” , in the form of the current popular stand-screen micro-synthesis, is more relevant to the viewing habits of modern audiences, with a light-weight structure of two minutes per set of 60 episodes, combined with fast-paced narratives. The director of the show, Yao Min, introduced: “The planning cycle is about 8 to 10 days, and the production cycle is two to three months, with a view to meeting the audience before the spring festival.”

It is worth noting that the creation and output of the play is well aligned with the forward-looking strategy of promoting a “new three” cultural approach to the sea in Zhejiang province. Zhejiang, Director and Deputy Managing Director, Zhejiang, stated: “The micro-short play “The Monopolies” is not only a cultural product for the country’s viewers, but has been given a special mission to spread the Songhong culture and Changshan story to the world. At present, the province is actively promoting cultural `new three’ access to the sea. It is planned to translate the Monopolies into multinational languages and to disseminate it through channels such as Europe and the United States, South-East Asia and Japan and Korea, in the hope of bringing the Song-hyun culture, Changshan’s ethos and wonderful stories to the world.”
